Markella

Building an environment conducive to creativity, involves selecting talented and inspirational tutors and I knew Markella well, as she used to attend my classes and went on to achieve a First Class Hons Degree at the Chichester University. Previously classically trained in Greece, creating icons, Markella has developed into an abstract artist.

Markella has excellent abilities across both representational and abstract drawing and painting. At university Markella was particularly influenced by tutors Steve McDade and Mike Walker and Chris McHugen. Markella is inspired by participatory art and collaborations. Markella has a studio at Art Space, in Portsmouth.
