Building an environment conducive to creativity, involves selecting talented and inspirational tutors. Markella is a great first choice of this new development, as she used to attend my classes and having created great work, a strong portfolio she went onto achieve a First Class Hons Degree at the Chichester University. Markella was previously classically trained in Greece, creating icons and has now developed into an abstract artist.

 

Markella has excellent abilities across both representational and abstract drawing and painting. At university Markella was particularly influenced by tutors Steve McDade and Mike Walker and Chris McHugen. Markella is inspired by participatory art and collaborations.
